Corporate Compliance at NSSA

At Nassau Suffolk Services for Autism (NSSA), we are committed to operating with integrity, accountability, and transparency. NSSA maintains a Corporate Compliance Program that applies across the organization and aligns with OPWDD requirements, Medicaid standards, and all applicable federal and New York State laws and regulations.

The program is designed to prevent and detect fraud, waste, and abuse while promoting ethical practices. Corporate Compliance Program documents are available upon request.

We encourage employees, contractors, vendors, and the individuals and families we serve to speak up if something does not seem right. Reporting concerns in good faith allows us to address issues early and maintain high-quality services.

Report a Compliance Concern

If you suspect fraud, abuse, neglect, misconduct, or any activity that may violate NSSA policies or applicable laws, please report it. Concerns may include:

  • Improper billing or documentation
  • Unethical or illegal conduct
  • Conflicts of interest
  • Any activity that appears inconsistent with NSSA policies or regulatory requirements

All concerns are taken seriously, reviewed promptly, and addressed as appropriate. When needed, corrective action is taken to resolve issues and strengthen our practices.
